What Matters

Children today are growing up in a world louder, faster, and more influential than ever before. They are surrounded by trends, noise, screens, pressure, attention, comparison, and the constant need to fit in. And while children are taught how to perform, achieve, compete, and grow academically, very few are ever taught how to pause and notice what is happening inside themselves while growing up.

What Matters was created to give children that space. A space to reflect. To think. To notice themselves more deeply. And to become more aware of the kind of person they are slowly becoming in today’s world. Not through fear. Not through shaming. But through honest conversations, reflections, observations and meaningful experiences that quietly stay with them long after the programme ends, inshāAllāh.

This is not merely about keeping children occupied during the holidays. Children will be encouraged to think more deeply about themselves, the world around them, and the kind of person they are slowly becoming. Because long before adulthood begins, the inside of a person is already being shaped.

It’s never too early to help our children reflect on life, become more aware of themselves, and think about the kind of person they are becoming while growing up in today’s world.
