2012 // SARANG CAFE

Revamp established a cafe in a two-storey shop house in Bussorah Street. We adopted a two-fold strategy in reaching out to the youths by establishing a conducive environment infused with positive and “hip” vibes. It used to attract youths to hang out and dine in at the cafe regularly.

2013 // REVAMP TRUTHSEEKERS

As the cafe progressed through a year, the befriending program grew bigger and dozens of youth started participating. We established a social circle held at the 2nd level of the cafe. This was where we conducted our “sharing sessions” through motivational groups, or one-to-one sessions where youths shared about their personal problems and the different coping mechanisms they use on a daily basis.

2014 // THE NEW SIGNATURE PROGRAM

In 2014, Revamp crafted a weekly signature program called The Mutual Reminding Sessions to cater to the increasing number of youth and adults streaming into our sharing sessions, to share with us the social and personal issues they were facing. Held every Saturday, the program addresses the masses with good teachings of family values and infuses advises to rebuild one’s moral character. It has since been renamed: The REmind Gig!

2015 // RELITE EVENTS MANAGEMENT

Relite began as an answer to a sincere request — many of the friends we journeyed with in Revamp wanted us to manage their weddings. Not as outsiders, but as people who truly knew them.

But it was also born out of a growing concern. We saw the wedding scene shifting — with trends that felt out of place with our values: choreographed “mob dances,” revealing outfits, and ceremonies losing their modesty and meaning. Relite emerged as a gentle intervention — to offer an alternative rooted in dignity, beauty, and Islamic principles, without sacrificing joy or celebration.

Brotherhood in Action

From the get-go, Relite became more than an events company. It became glue — binding brothers together as they hustled side by side, sweating it out with sincerity, serving guests with adab, and finding joy in working as one. It wasn’t just about setting tables or soundchecks — it was a real-life classroom in etiquette, servitude, and excellence.

From Weddings to Islamic Ceremonies
Over the years, Relite grew into a trusted name for alternative, Islamic-themed ceremonies. We’ve facilitated over 70 weddings, while also running Revamp’s daily activities in the evenings and the café by day. It was action-packed — but every moment was filled with barakah and brotherhood. Beyond weddings, Relite also supports families in hosting meaningful spiritual milestones — including Majlis Doa Selamat, Majlis Cukur Rambut & Tahnik), and Tahlil Gatherings for remembering the deceased. Every event is crafted with reverence, tradition, and a sincere touch.

Shifting Focus During Covid
When the Covid-19 pandemic hit, we had to press pause on wedding services. But Relite didn’t stop. It shifted focus toward meaningful Islamic events: from monthly Mawlid gatherings to percussion workshops for both children and adults.

Community-Wide Connection
While Revamp focuses on the youth and the young at heart, Relite extends that reach to the entire family — the children, their parents, and even their grandparents. It’s our bridge to the wider community.

What We Do Now
Relite organizes events that are warm, inclusive, and community-friendly — like our monthly Mawlid gathering which we named — Recharge, and large-scale performances at venues like Suntec City and Singapore Expo, where our percussion brothers and children are regularly invited to represent the spirit of unity and tradition.

2018 // IECP CERTIFIED

In 2018, Revamp was officially recognised as an Islamic Education Centre & Provider (IECP) under MUIS' national certification scheme. This endorsement affirmed our commitment to offer trusted, community-rooted programs — and opened doors to build stronger ties with like-minded educators and partners across Singapore.

For us, this wasn't just a recognition — it was a trust, and a reminder to keep our efforts sincere, relevant, and grounded in service.

Up to this day, REVAMP strives
to welcome youths and the general public with open arms, one soul and one day at a time.

The believer is friendly and befriended, for there is no goodness in one who is neither friendly nor befriended.
