 لَيَالِي الْقَدْرِ عُودِي فِي سُعُودِي
وَصَلَّى الله عَلَى مِسْكِ الْخِتَامِ

O nights of Decree, return to me in joy,
And blessings be upon the fragrant seal of all endings.

إِذَا الْعِشْرُونَ ِمِنْ رَمَضَانَ وَلَّتْ
فَبَادِرْ بِالتِّلَاوَة وَالْقِيَامِ

When the first twenty nights have passed,
Then rise, recite, and stand in prayer.

لَيَالِي الْقَدْرِ عُودِي فِي سُعُودِي
وَصَلَّى الله عَلَى مِسْكِ الْخِتَامِ

O nights of Decree, return to me in joy,
And blessings be upon the fragrant seal of all endings.

وَسُفَّ الْكَأْسَ وَاشْرَبْ فِي حِمَى
لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ الَّتِي فِيهَا سَلَامِ

Drink deep from the cup,
Within the sacred refuge of that night of peace.

لَيَالِي الْقَدْرِ عُودِي فِي سُعُودِي
وَصَلَّى الله عَلَى مِسْكِ الْخِتَامِ

O nights of Decree, return to me in joy,
And blessings be upon the fragrant seal of all endings.

وَلَا تَقْنَعْ بِأَقْدَاحٍ صِغَارٍ
وَسَاقِي الْقَوْمِ هُوَ رَبُّ الْأَنَامِ

Do not be content with little,
For the Cupbearer is the Lord of all creation.

لَيَالِي الْقَدْرِ عُودِي فِي سُعُودِي
وَصَلَّى الله عَلَى مِسْكِ الْخِتَامِ

O nights of Decree, return to me in joy,
And blessings be upon the fragrant seal of all endings.

فَفِيهَا الرُّوحُ وَالْأَمْلَاكْ تُنْزَلْ
بِإِذْنِ اللهِ وَالْأَمْرُ النِّظَامِ

In it descend the Spirit (Jibril) and the angels,
By His command, all set in perfect order.

لَيَالِي الْقَدْرِ عُودِي فِي سُعُودِي
وَصَلَّى الله عَلَى مِسْكِ الْخِتَامِ

O nights of Decree, return to me in joy,
And blessings be upon the fragrant seal of all endings.

وَلَحْظَة مِنْهَا تُغْنِي وَتُحْيِي
فُؤَادَ الصَّبِّ يُرْوَى كُلُّ ظَامٍ

A single moment of it is enough,
It gives life to the lover’s heart,
And quenches every thirst.

لَيَالِي الْقَدْرِ عُودِي فِي سُعُودِي
وَصَلَّى الله عَلَى مِسْكِ الْخِتَامِ

O nights of Decree, return to me in joy,
And blessings be upon the fragrant seal of all endings.

هَنِيئًا لِلَّذِي قَدْ قَامَ فِيهَا
وَشَاهَدَ شَمْسَهَا بَدْرَ التَّمَامِ

Glad tidings to the one who stood in it,
And beheld its light like a full moon.

لَيَالِي الْقَدْرِ عُودِي فِي سُعُودِي
وَصَلَّى الله عَلَى مِسْكِ الْخِتَامِ

O nights of Decree, return to me in joy,
And blessings be upon the fragrant seal of all endings.

شَرِبَ مِنْهَا هَنِيئًا لَهُ مَرِيئًا
وَلَمْ يُرْوَ وَسَاقِي الْقَوْمِ سَامِي

He drinks from it in sweetness and delight,
Yet is never truly quenched
For the Giver is ever exalted.

لَيَالِي الْقَدْرِ عُودِي فِي سُعُودِي
وَصَلَّى الله عَلَى مِسْكِ الْخِتَامِ

O nights of Decree, return to me in joy,
And blessings be upon the fragrant seal of all endings.

تَعَرَّضْ فِي لَيَالِي الْعَشْرِ تَحْظَى
بِفَضْلِ اللهِ فِي دَارِ السَّلَامِ

Expose yourself in the last ten nights,
And you will be granted His grace
In the Abode of Peace.

لَيَالِي الْقَدْرِ عُودِي فِي سُعُودِي
وَصَلَّى الله عَلَى مِسْكِ الْخِتَامِ

O nights of Decree, return to me in joy,
And blessings be upon the fragrant seal of all endings.

وَلَا تَيْأَسْ فَسَاقِي الْقَوْمِ بَاقِي
وَكَمْ لِلّٰهِ نَفَحَاتٌ عِظَامِ

Do not despair,
For the Cupbearer remains,
And how vast are His divine breezes of mercy.

لَيَالِي الْقَدْرِ عُودِي فِي سُعُودِي
وَصَلَّى الله عَلَى مِسْكِ الْخِتَامِ

O nights of Decree, return to me in joy,
And blessings be upon the fragrant seal of all endings.

وَصَلَّى الله عَلَى هَادِي مُحَمَّد*
شَفِيِعِ الْخَلْقِ فِي يَوْمِ الزِّحَامِ

And may Allah send blessings upon Muhammad ﷺ, our guide,
The intercessor for all creation on the Day of crowds.

لَيَالِي الْقَدْرِ عُودِي فِي سُعُودِي
وَصَلَّى الله عَلَى مِسْكِ الْخِتَامِ

O nights of Decree, return to me in joy,
And blessings be upon the fragrant seal of all endings.

وَصَلَّى اللهُ رَبِّي كُلَّ حِينٍ*
عَلَى الشَافِعْ لَنَا يَوْمَ الزَّحَامِ
