Relite Percussion Workshop - Level 3
The Relite Percussion Workshop aims to nurture our children in the beautiful tradition of Islamic celebrations and gatherings, where rhythm, qasidah, and praise are carried with discipline, adab, and love.
In Level 1 and Level 2, participants were introduced to the foundations of darbuka and tambourine, basic rhythm patterns, group coordination, and the discipline of playing together.
Level 3 continues that journey.
This level is designed for students who have completed Level 2 and are ready to grow further in their rhythm, focus, confidence, teamwork, and performance readiness. Participants will be trained to follow more advanced arrangements, listen carefully as a group, and carry themselves with better discipline when playing for Mawlid and qasidah gatherings.
As an additional pathway and exposure, selected participants may also be invited to perform in our monthly Mawlid held on the first Saturday of every month, as well as other private or community events conducted by Relite.
Level 3 also serves as a pathway towards the Relite Qasidah Club, where selected students may be considered for future performance opportunities.

Pathway to Relite Qasidah Club
Level 3 is not only about learning more beats.
It is also about preparing students to understand the responsibility of performing in sacred and community gatherings.
Selected students who show consistency, discipline, good adab, teamwork, and readiness may be considered for the Relite Qasidah Club.
Selection will not be based on talent alone. We will also observe the child’s attendance, attitude, ability to follow instructions, respect for the gathering, and how well they work with others.
Note
Darbukas and tambourines will be provided during the sessions, though participants are welcome to bring their own.
Please ensure your child comes energised and has taken their meal beforehand.
Dress casually and comfortably.
Bring a water bottle.
If your child gets cold easily, please pack a jacket and socks.
Registration
Registration is open to children ages 7 to 14.
This Level 3 intake is only open to students who have completed Level 2.
Please submit the full name of parent and child as per the Identification Card or Birth Certificate.
