The Revamp Prayer of Brotherhood

بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَٰنِ الرَّحِيمِ

اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، اَللّٰهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ وَآلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّمْ

O Allah, we turn to You and seek the completeness of Your blessings and the perfection of Your mercy. In obedience to your command, “Ask of Me and I shall give you,” we seek your forgiveness for all our sins, treacheries and betrayals. We admit our wrongs and acknowledge the favours that You have bestowed upon us.    

O Allah, thank You for bestowing us with good friends. Preserve our friendship and guide us to embody true companionship, so that we do not oppress, betray, abandon, humiliate, lie to, or show contempt to one another. Guide us not to take advantage of each other except in matters which You and Your Messenger have instructed us. Guide us to always maintain good opinions of one another, and to consult on any matters with respect and compassion. Let us be companions who strive to benefit and take benefit, to remind and always willing to be reminded, to sincerely love and help one another, all for Your sake.   

O Allah, guide us in being loyal to each other, preserve our unity, and bind our hearts together in love, respect, and justice in all our dealings. O Guardian of hearts, purify our hearts from envy and hatred, and fill them with piety and compassion. O Most Merciful, grant us success in protecting the lives, legacy, and honor of our companions. O Allah, we seek Your acceptance in all our efforts, grant us the strength to remain steadfast in fulfilling these commitments, all in sincerity, in seeking Your pleasure and countenance, through Your mercy, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.
