A DOA FOR LAYLAT AL-JA‘IZAH

بِسْمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيْمِ

الْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ، وَالصَّلَاةُ وَالسَّلَامُ عَلَى أَشْرَفِ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ، سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ، وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ أَجْمَعِينَ

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. All praise is for Allah, Lord of all the worlds. And may blessings and peace be upon the noblest of Prophets and Messengers, our master Muhammad, and upon his family and all his companions.

اللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا وَلِجَمِيعِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ فِي هٰذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ، اللّٰهُمَّ اكْتُبْ لَنَا وَلَهُمُ الْقَبُولَ فِيمَا مَضَى مِنْ أَيَّامِ رَمَضَانَ وَلَيَالِيهِ، وَفِي لَيْلَتِنَا هٰذِهِ، لَيْلَةِ الْجَائِزَةِ

O Allah, bless us and bless all the Muslims on this night. O Allah, write for us and for them acceptance for what has passed of the days and nights of Ramadan, and for this night of ours, the Night of the Prize.

اللّٰهُمَّ إِنَّ جَوَائِزَكَ عَظِيمَةٌ بِقَدْرِ عَظَمَتِكَ، وَإِنَّ عَطَايَاكَ عَظِيمَةٌ بِقَدْرِ جَلَالِكَ، فَاللّٰهُمَّ ارْزُقْنَا مِنْ خِلَعِكَ الَّتِي خَلَعْتَهَا فِي رَمَضَانَ، وَمِنَ الْخِلَعِ الَّتِي تَخْلَعُهَا فِي هٰذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ الْمُبَارَكَةِ، وَاكْسُنَا يَا اللّٰهُ مِنْ كِسْوَاتِ رَحْمَتِكَ، وَمَحَبَّتِكَ، وَاصْطِفَائِكَ، وَرِضَاكَ

O Allah, Your rewards are immense, befitting Your greatness, and Your gifts are immense, befitting Your majesty. O Allah, grant us from the robes of honour You bestowed during Ramadan, and from the robes You bestow on this blessed night. Clothe us, O Allah, with the garments of Your mercy, Your love, Your choosing, and Your pleasure.

اللّٰهُمَّ اجْعَلْنَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ مِنَ الْمُتَوَجِّهِينَ إِلَيْكَ، الْمُتَنَبِّهِينَ، الْمُتَذَلِّلِينَ، الْخَاضِعِينَ، الْخَاشِعِينَ، الَّذِينَ يَقْصِدُونَ وَجْهَكَ، وَيُرِيدُونَ وَجْهَكَ، وَيَسْأَلُونَ رِضَاكَ وَحْدَكَ

O Allah, make us among those who turn to You fully, attentive, humbled, submissive, and reverent, those who seek Your Face, desire Your Face, and ask only for Your pleasure.

اللّٰهُمَّ أَعِدْ عَلَيْنَا عَوَائِدَ فَضْلِكَ الَّتِي أَفَضْتَ بِهَا عَلَيْنَا فِي رَمَضَانَ، وَأَعِدْهَا عَلَى أُمَّةِ نَبِيِّكَ ﷺ بَعْدَ رَمَضَانَ، وَاجْعَلِ الْأَيَّامَ وَاللَّيَالِيَ الْقَادِمَةَ أَيَّامَ نَصْرٍ لِلْحَقِّ، وَهِدَايَةً لِلْخَلْقِ، وَانْتِشَارًا لِنُورِ دِينِكَ، وَنُورِ خَيْرِ الْبَرِيَّةِ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَسُنَّتِهِ وَهَدْيِهِ

O Allah, return to us the recurring outpourings of Your grace that You poured upon us in Ramadan, and return them to the Ummah of Your Prophet ﷺ after Ramadan. Make the coming days and nights times of victory for truth, guidance for creation, and the spreading of the light of Your religion, and the light of the best of creation, Muhammad ﷺ, his Sunnah and his guidance.

اللّٰهُمَّ بَارِكْ لَنَا فِي هٰذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ، وَأَسْعِدْنَا بِسَعَادَاتٍ عَظِيمَةٍ، وَزِدْنَا مِنْ عَطَايَاكَ الْوَفِيرَةِ، وَمِنْ مَنَحِكَ الْكَبِيرَةِ، وَسِرْ بِنَا فِي خَيْرِ سِيرَةٍ، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْ عِبَادِكَ عَلَى بَصِيرَةٍ، وَمِنَ الدَّاعِينَ إِلَيْكَ عَلَى بَصِيرَةٍ مُنِيرَةٍ

O Allah, bless these days for us, grant us great and true happiness, increase us from Your abundant gifts and immense bestowals, guide us along the best and most beautiful way of living, make us among Your servants who worship You with insight, and among those who call to You with clear and radiant understanding.

اللّٰهُمَّ أَسْعِدْنَا وَإِيَّاهُمْ فِي هٰذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ يُحْيِيهَا بِطَاعَتِكَ وَذِكْرِكَ، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْقُلُوبِ الَّتِي تُحْيِيهَا بِنُورِكَ، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ تُحْيِي بِهِمْ حَقَائِقَ هٰذَا الدِّينِ، وَتُحْيِي بِهِمُ الْقُلُوبَ فِي تَوَجُّهِهَا إِلَيْكَ يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ، عَلَى اتِّبَاعِ سُنَّةِ سَيِّدِ الْمُرْسَلِينَ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ

O Allah, grant happiness to us and to them on this night, make us among those who give it life through obedience and remembrance of You, make us among the people whose hearts You bring to life with Your light, and make us among those through whom You revive the realities of this religion, and through whom You revive hearts in their turning towards You, O Lord of all the worlds, upon following the Sunnah of the Master of the Messengers, Muhammad ﷺ.

وَصَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَى سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ
وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ
وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِينَ

And may Allah send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad, and upon his family and his companions. And all praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.
