Majlis Nurul Bara’ah is an Annual Children’s Mawlid Assembly, a unique Mawlid celebration presented by children, for children. The event will feature Mawlid recitations, storytelling sessions, and Qasidah performances, all delivered by young participants under the guidance of Relite Qasidah Club by REVAMP.SG
Our aim is to establish this as a yearly children-friendly event, nurturing a deep love for the Prophet ﷺ and his noble family, while strengthening the bonds within our wider community.
This year, the children under our supervision will not only be present as audience and participants, but will also take an active role in running the event. They will step forward as performers, ushers, emcees, and helpers, giving them a meaningful experience of service, confidence, and responsibility.
This event was first introduced by Revamp.sg in 2023 in collaboration with Masjid Haji Muhammad Salleh @ Maqam Habib Noh, as part of a fundraising effort for the restoration of the Maqam. Alhamdulillah, the first event received overwhelming support from the community.
The second Majlis in 2024 was kindly hosted by Jamiyah Singapore. We are humbled and grateful that Jamiyah has once again opened its doors to host this year’s Majlis Nurul Bara’ah, a gesture that reflects the continued trust and growing friendship between Jamiyah Singapore and Revamp.sg.
