بِسْمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيْمِ

إِلَهَنَا وَسَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلَانَا، رَبَّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرَضِينَ وَمَا فِيهِنَّ، وَرَبَّ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ وَالْمُرْسَلِينَ، وَرَبَّ مُحَمَّدٍ، وَرَبَّ الْجَنَّةِ وَالنَّارِ، وَرَبَّ رَمَضَانَ وَمَا فِيهِ

Our God, our Master, our Lord, Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is within them, Lord of the prophets and the messengers, Lord of Muhammad ﷺ, Lord of Paradise and the Fire, Lord of Ramaḍān and all that it contains.

نَحْنُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ، وَالْحَالُ لَا يَخْفَى عَلَيْكَ. أَقْبَلْنَا عَلَى فِرَاقِ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ وَرَحِيلِهِ مِنْ بَيْنِنَا، وَأَنْتَ أَعْلَمُ بِمَا كَانَ مِنَّا فِيهِ وَمَا صَدَرَ مِنَّا. فَنَسْأَلُكَ وَنَدْعُوكَ وَنَطْلُبُكَ بِفَضْلِكَ، وَمِنْكَ، وَبِكَرَمِكَ وَرَحْمَتِكَ، أَنْ تُذْهِبَ الْأَسْوَاءَ وَالْعَدْوَى، وَكُلَّ بَلْوَى، وَأَنْ تَجْعَلَ مَا وَفَّقْتَنَا فِيهِ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ مَقْبُولًا عِنْدَكَ

We stand before You, and our state is not hidden from You. We have reached the moment of parting from this month as it departs from among us, and You know best what came from us during it and what issued from us. So we ask You, we call upon You, and we seek You, by Your grace, from You, through Your generosity and Your mercy, that You remove all evils, contagions, and every affliction, and that You make whatever You enabled us to do of good accepted by You.

نَقِّ مَا عَلِقَ بِنَا مِنْ شَوَائِبِ الِْالْتِفَاتِ إِلَى مَا سِوَاكَ، اللّٰهُمَّ وَتَجَاوَزْ عَنَّا كُلَّ تَقْصِيرٍ مِنَّا كَانَ فِي شَهْرِنَا هَذَا، وَكُلَّ غَفْلَةٍ مِنَّا كَانَتْ فِي شَهْرِنَا هَذَا

Cleanse what has clung to us of the impurities of turning toward other than You, O Allah. Pardon every shortcoming from us that occurred in this month of ours, and every heedlessness from us that took place in this month of ours.

اللّٰهُمَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْحَلَ، انْظُرْ إِلَيْنَا
اللّٰهُمَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْحَلَ، ارْضَ عَنَّا
اللّٰهُمَّ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَرْحَلَ، جُدْ عَلَيْنَا

O Allah, before it departs, look upon us.
O Allah, before it departs, be pleased with us.
O Allah, before it departs, pour generosity upon us.

أَخْبَرَنَا صَاحِبُ الرِّسَالَةِ، نَبِيُّكَ الْمُصْطَفَى ﷺ، أَنَّكَ تُعْتِقُ فِي آخِرِ لَيْلَةٍ مِنْ هَذَا الشَّهْرِ مِثْلَ مَا أَعْتَقْتَ مِنْ أَوَّلِ الشَّهْرِ إِلَى آخِرِهِ. وَهَذِهِ رِقَابُنَا خَاضِعَةٌ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ، مُتَذَلِّلَةٌ لِعَظَمَتِكَ، تَرْجُو أَنْ تُعْتِقَهَا

The bearer of the Message, Your chosen Prophet ﷺ, informed us that You free, in the last night of this month, the same number You freed from its beginning until its end. These are our necks, humbled before You, submitted to Your greatness, hoping that You will free them.

فَلَا تَدَعْ مِنَّا رَقَبَةً إِلَّا أَعْتَقْتَهَا مِنَ النَّارِ، وَمِنَ الْعَذَابِ، وَمِنَ النِّفَاقِ، وَمِنَ السَّيِّئَاتِ وَالذُّنُوبِ، وَمِنَ الْآفَاتِ. يَا مَنْ يُعْتِقُ الرِّقَابَ، يَا رَبَّ الرِّقَابِ. رِقَابُنَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ. نُقَدِّمُ لَكَ رِقَابَ أَهْلِنَا، وَأَوْلَادِنَا، وَطُلَّابِنَا، وَأَصْحَابِنَا، وَقَرَابَاتِنَا، وَمَنْ لَهُ حَقٌّ عَلَيْنَا، يَا رَبَّ الرِّقَابِ، فِي هَذِهِ اللَّيْلَةِ، لَيْلَةِ الْقَدْرِ

Do not leave a single neck among us except that You free it from the Fire, from punishment, from hypocrisy, from sins and wrongdoings, and from afflictions. O You who free necks, O Lord of all necks. Our necks are before You. We present to You the necks of our families, our children, our students, our companions, our relatives, and all who have a right upon us, O Lord of all necks, on this night, the Night of Decree.

سُدَّ عَلَيْنَا، يَا كَرِيمُ يَا رَبِّ، وَلَا تَدَعْ رَقَبَةً مِنْ رِقَابِنَا وَأَحِبَّائِنَا إِلَّا أَعْتَقْتَهَا، يَا اللهُ يَا اللهُ. وَاجْعَلْ هَذِهِ الرِّقَابَ ثَابِتَةَ الْقَدَمِ عَلَى طَاعَتِكَ وَطَاعَةِ رَسُولِكَ، لَهَا الصِّدْقُ فِي طَاعَتِكَ وَطَاعَةِ رَسُولِكَ، مَا يَغْلِبُ جَمِيعَ الشَّهَوَاتِ وَالْأَهْوَاءَ وَالنُّفُوسَ وَشَيَاطِينَ الْإِنْسِ وَالْجِنِّ، حَتَّى لَا تَكُونَ لَنَا طَاعَةٌ إِلَّا لَكَ وَلِرَسُولِكَ، مُخْلِصِينَ لِوَجْهِكَ، صَادِقِينَ مَعَكَ

Shield us, O Most Generous, O Lord, and do not leave a single soul from among us or those we love except that You free it, O Allah, O Allah. Make these souls firm upon obedience to You and obedience to Your Messenger, truthful in obeying You and Your Messenger, overpowering all desires, whims, lower selves, and the devils of humans and jinn, until we have no obedience except to You and to Your Messenger, sincere for Your sake, truthful with You.

يَا رَبَّنَا، يَا رَبَّنَا، يَا رَبَّنَا، يَا رَبَّنَا، يَا رَبَّنَا. أَنْتَ أَوْقَفْتَنَا عَلَى أَبْوَابِكَ، وَأَكْرَمْتَنَا بِاللَّيَالِي عَلَى أَعْتَابِكَ، وَبِالْقِيَامِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ

Our Lord, our Lord, our Lord, our Lord, our Lord. You are the One who caused us to stand at Your doors, honoured us with nights at Your threshold, and with standing before You.

هَا أَنْتَ الْكَرِيمُ، هَا أَنْتَ الرَّحِيمُ، هَا أَنْتَ الْعَظِيمُ، هَا أَنْتَ الْجَوَادُ، هَا أَنْتَ الرَّؤُوفُ، هَا أَنْتَ اللَّطِيفُ، هَا أَنْتَ الْمُحْسِنُ، هَا أَنْتَ الْمُتَفَضِّلُ، هَا أَنْتَ الْغَفَّارُ، هَا أَنْتَ الْقَهَّارُ، هَا أَنْتَ الْجَبَّارُ. هَا أَنْتَ مُكَوِّرُ النَّهَارِ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَمُكَوِّرُ اللَّيْلِ فِي النَّهَارِ

You are the Generous, You are the Merciful, You are the Magnificent, You are the Most Giving, You are the Most Compassionate, You are the Gentle, You are the Beneficent, You are the Bestower, You are the All Forgiving, You are the Overpowering, You are the Compeller. You are the One who wraps the day into the night and the night into the day.

هَا أَنْتَ رَبُّنَا، هَا أَنْتَ إِلَهُنَا، هَا أَنْتَ خَالِقُنَا، هَا أَنْتَ رَازِقُنَا، هَا أَنْتَ مُوَفِّقُنَا. أَنْتَ الَّذِي أَمْدَدْتَنَا حَتَّى وَقَفْنَا بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ، وَوَفَّقْتَنَا وَأَلْهَمْتَنَا دُعَاءَكَ حَتَّى دَعَوْنَاكَ وَرَجَوْنَاكَ

You are our Lord, You are our God, You are our Creator, You are our Provider, You are the Giver of our success. You are the One who sustained us until we stood before You, guided us, and inspired us with supplication so that we called upon You and hoped in You.

فَكُلُّ هَذَا مِنْكَ. فَيَا مُحْسِنُ أَكْمِلْ لَنَا الْإِحْسَانَ، وَيَا مُنْعِمُ أَتْمِمْ عَلَيْنَا النِّعْمَةَ، وَيَا مُتَفَضِّلُ أَتْمِمْ عَلَيْنَا الْفَضْلَ، وَاجْعَلْنَا عِنْدَكَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ

All of this is from You. So O Doer of Good, complete Your goodness upon us. O Bestower of blessings, complete Your favour upon us. O Giver, complete Your bounty upon us, and make us among the people of immense bounty in Your sight.

يَا مَنْ يُؤْتِي مِنْ فَضْلِهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ، وَاللهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ. أَيْقَنَّا بِذَلِكَ وَفَزِعْنَا إِلَيْكَ، فَهَبْ لَنَا مِنْ عِنْدِكَ الْفَضْلَ الْعَظِيمَ، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْ أَهْلِ الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ

O You who grant Your bounty to whom You will, and Allah is the Possessor of immense bounty. We are certain of this and flee to You, so grant us from Yourself immense bounty and make us among its people.

وَاغْفِرْ جَمِيعَ ذُنُوبِنَا وَمَا كَانَ مِنَّا، فَإِنَّهُ لَا يَعْظُمُ عَلَى مَغْفِرَتِكَ ذَنْبٌ، وَلَا يَعْظُمُ عَلَى عَفْوِكَ سَيِّئَةٌ. أَنْتَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنَّا، إِنَّكَ عَفُوٌّ تُحِبُّ الْعَفْوَ فَاعْفُ عَنَّا

Forgive all our sins and all that came from us, for no sin is too great for Your forgiveness, and no wrongdoing is too great for Your pardon. You are Pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon us. You are Pardoning and You love to pardon, so pardon us.

يَا مُنَزِّلَ الْكِتَابِ، يَا كَرِيمُ، يَا وَهَّابُ، لَا يَنْصَرِفُ هَذَا الشَّهْرُ إِلَّا وَجَمِيعُ مَنْ فِي دِيَارِنَا مَغْفُورٌ لَهُمْ وَمَنْظُورٌ إِلَيْهِمْ

O Revealer of the Book, O Generous, O Bestower, do not let this month depart except that everyone in our homes is forgiven and looked upon with mercy.

سَيِّدَنَا وَمَوْلَانَا، الْفَرَجَ لِلْأُمَّةِ عَجِّلْ، وَالْفَتْحَ وَالْغِيَاثَ
لِلْأُمَّةِ عَجِّلْ، وَالنَّصْرَ لِلْأُمَّةِ عَجِّلْ، وَالصَّلَاحَ لِلْأُمَّةِ عَجِّلْ، وَجَمْعَ شَمْلِ الْأُمَّةِ عَجِّلْ

Our Master and Protector, hasten relief for the Ummah. Hasten opening and aid for the Ummah. Hasten victory for the Ummah. Hasten rectification for the Ummah. And hasten the gathering and unity of the Ummah.

يَا إِلٰهَنَا، نَشْكُو إِلَيْكَ فَلَتَاتِ نُفُوسِنَا، وَطَاعَاتِ الْأَهْوَاءِ، وَمَا اعْتَرَضَ سَبِيلَ دِينِكَ مِنَ الْإِنْسِ وَالْجِنِّ، وَمَا غَلَبَ ذٰلِكَ عَلَى كَثِيرٍ مِنْ شَبَابِنَا وَشَابَّاتِنَا وَصِغَارِنَا وَكِبَارِنَا. إِلَيْكَ الْمُشْتَكَى، وَأَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ

O our God, we complain to You of the slips of our souls, of obedience to desires, and of what obstructs the path of Your religion from among humans and jinn, and how this has overwhelmed many of our young and old, men and women. To You alone is the complaint, and You alone are the One whose help is sought.

نَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَنَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ، وَنَقُولُ: مَا كَانَ مِنَّا يَا إِلٰهَنَا، لَا وَعِزَّتِكَ مَا كَانَ تَكْذِيبًا بِوَعْدِكَ وَوَعِيدِكَ، وَلَا كُفْرًا بِكَ، وَلَا تَكْذِيبًا بِمَا قَالَ نَبِيُّكَ، وَلٰكِنَّ الشَّقَاوَةَ أَوْقَعَتْنَا فِيمَا أَوْقَعَتْنَا فِيهِ

We seek Your forgiveness and turn to You, saying: what came from us, O our God, was not, by Your might, a denial of Your promise or Your warning, nor disbelief in You, nor rejection of what Your Prophet conveyed, but rather misfortune overtook us and led us into what it led us into.

وَإِنَّنَا نَادِمُونَ عَلَى مَا كَانَ مِنَّا
وَإِنَّنَا نَادِمُونَ عَلَى مَا كَانَ مِنَّا
وَإِنَّنَا نَادِمُونَ عَلَى مَا كَانَ مِنَّا

And we are remorseful for what came from us,
and we are remorseful for what came from us,
and we are remorseful for what came from us.

إِنَّنَا خَجِلُونَ مِنِ اطِّلَاعِكَ عَلَيْنَا وَإِحَاطَتِكَ بِنَا، وَمَعَ ذٰلِكَ نُوقِنُ أَنَّكَ الْأَسْتَرُ بِنَا. فَنَسْأَلُكَ سِتْرَكَ الْجَمِيلَ، كَفَانَا عِلْمُكَ، فَلَا تَفْضَحْنَا عِنْدَ مَلَائِكَتِكَ، وَلَا عِنْدَ أَنْبِيَائِكَ، وَلَا فِي الْجَمْعِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ

We are ashamed before Your gaze upon us and Your encompassing knowledge of us, yet we are certain that You are the One who covers us most. So we ask You for Your beautiful covering. Your knowledge is sufficient for us, so do not expose us before Your angels, nor before Your prophets, nor in the great gathering on the Day of Resurrection.

اسْتُرْنَا بِسِتْرِكَ الْجَمِيلِ، يَا جَمِيلُ، يَا جَلِيلُ، يَا جَمِيلَ السِّتْرِ، يَا كَرِيمَ الْعَفْوِ. يَا اللهُ، يَا اللهُ

Cover us with Your beautiful covering, O Beautiful One, O Majestic One, O Beautiful in concealment,
O Generous in pardon. O Allah, O Allah.

اِعْفُ وَاغْفِرْ وَتَجَاوَزْ، وَاجْبُرْ وَسَدِّدْ، وَأَسْعِدْ، وَقَرِّبْنَا إِلَيْكَ زُلْفَى

Pardon us, forgive us, overlook our faults, mend us, guide us aright, grant us joy, and draw us near to You in true closeness.

رَبَّنَا وَمَوْلَانَا، أَنْتَ الَّذِي خَلَقْتَنَا وَخَلَقْتَ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ، وَجَعَلْتَنَا فِي أُمَّةِ هٰذَا الْحَبِيبِ، وَوَفَّقْتَنَا لِتِلَاوَةِ كِتَابِكَ وَالْقِيَامِ بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ

Our Lord and Master, You are the One who created us and created the heavens and the earth, placed us within the nation of this Beloved, and granted us success in reciting Your Book and standing before You.

مِنْ أَيْنَ نَجِيءُ بِذَرَّةٍ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ لَوْلَا فَضْلُكَ وَجُودُكَ، لَوْلَا كَرَمُكَ وَإِحْسَانُكَ؟ فَإِذَا وَهَبْتَ وَمَنَنْتَ بِهٰذِهِ النِّعَمِ كُلِّهَا، فَافْتَحْ لَنَا أَبْوَابَ رِضْوَانِكَ الْأَكْبَرِ

From where could we bring even a single atom of this, were it not for Your favour and Your generosity, were it not for Your kindness and Your benevolence? So if You have granted and bestowed all these blessings upon us, then open for us the greatest doors of Your pleasure.

وَارْضَ عَنَّا، وَارْضَ عَنَّا، وَارْضَ عَنَّا، وَعَنْ أَهْلِينَا وَأَوْلَادِنَا وَأَحِبَّائِنَا وَطُلَّابِنَا وَمَنْ وَالَانَا فِيكَ. رِضْوَانُكَ الْأَكْبَرُ يَزْدَادُ أَبَدًا سَرْمَدًا، ازْدَدْ عَنَّا رِضًا، وَارْضَ عَنَّا، وَازْدَدْ عَنَّا رِضًا، وَأَلْحِقْنَا بِمَنْ رَضِيتَ عَنْهُمْ، وَازْدَدْ عَنَّا وَعَنْهُمْ رِضًا، حَتَّى نَرَى أَثَرَ ذٰلِكَ الرِّضَا فِي جَمِيعِ الشُّؤُونِ، فِي الظَّاهِرِ وَالْبُطُونِ، فِي الْحَيَاةِ وَعِنْدَ الْمَنُونِ. يَا اللهُ، يَا اللهُ

Be pleased with us, be pleased with us, be pleased with us, and with our families, our children, our loved ones, our students, and all who are connected to us for Your sake. Your greatest pleasure increases endlessly and eternally. Increase Your pleasure with us, be pleased with us, and increase Your pleasure with us. Join us with those with whom You are pleased, and increase Your pleasure with us and with them, until we witness the effects of that pleasure in every affair, outwardly and inwardly, in life and at the moment of death. O Allah, O Allah.

وَتُنَادَى كُلُّ نَفْسٍ مِنَّا عِنْدَ خُرُوجِ رُوحِهَا مِنْ جَسَدِهَا: يَا أَيَّتُهَا النَّفْسُ الْمُطْمَئِنَّةُ، ارْجِعِي إِلَىٰ رَبِّكِ رَاضِيَةً مَرْضِيَّةً، فَادْخُلِي فِي عِبَادِي، وَادْخُلِي جَنَّتِي

And may every soul among us be called when its spirit departs from its body: O tranquil soul, return to your Lord, pleased and pleasing. Enter among My servants, and enter My Paradise.

ثُمَّ تَسْمَعُ أَرْوَاحُنَا كُلُّهَا عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ أَصْوَاتَ رُسُلِكَ وَمَلَائِكَتِكَ، يُبَلِّغُونَ لَنَا الْفَضْلَ مِنْكَ وَالْجُودَ: ارْجِعِي إِلَىٰ رَوْحٍ وَرَيْحَانٍ وَرَبٍّ غَيْرِ غَضْبَانَ. يَا اللهُ

Then may all our souls, at the moment of death, hear the voices of Your messengers and angels conveying to us Your bounty and generosity, saying: Return to rest and fragrance, and to a Lord who is not angry. O Allah.

فِي الْبَرْزَخِ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَأَسْمِعْنَا طِيبَ لَذِيذِ لُطْفِ حَالِ نِدَائِكَ لِأَهْلِ جَنَّتِكَ: حَلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ رِضَايَ فَلَا أَسْخَطُ عَلَيْكُمْ بَعْدَهُ أَبَدًا، وَحَلَّ عَلَيْكُمْ رِضْوَانِي فَلَا أَسْخَطُ عَلَيْكُمْ بَعْدَهُ أَبَدًا

In the realm of the grave and on the Day of Resurrection, let us hear the sweet and delightful gentleness of Your call to the people of Your Paradise: My pleasure has descended upon you, and I will never be displeased with you after it; My pleasure has descended upon you, and I will never be displeased with you after it.

أَسْمِعْنَا ذٰلِكَ النِّدَاءَ طِيبَ الْأَدَاءِ بِالْحَالِ، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْ أَسْعَدِ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ بِهِ، يَا كَرِيمُ يَا وَالِي. يَا اللهُ، لَا تَقْطَعْنَا عَنْ ذٰلِكَ، وَلَا تَحْرِمْنَا مِنْ ذٰلِكَ، يَا مَلِكَ الْمَمَالِكِ. يَا اللهُ، يَا اللهُ

Let us hear that call in its most beautiful and living reality, and make us among the happiest of the people of Paradise because of it, O Generous One, O Guardian. O Allah, do not cut us off from
that, and do not deprive us of it, O King of all kings. O Allah, O Allah.

اجْعَلْ هٰذَا الشَّهْرَ شَاهِدًا لَنَا عِنْدَكَ، لَا شَاهِدًا عَلَىٰ أَحَدٍ مِنَّا، وَاجْعَلْهُ حُجَّةً لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَّا، لَا حُجَّةً عَلَىٰ وَاحِدٍ مِنَّا. يَا اللهُ، يَا اللهُ، يَا اللهُ

Make this month a witness for us with You, not a witness against any one of us. Make it a proof in favour of every one of us, not a proof against any one of us. O Allah, O Allah, O Allah.

وَلَا تَجْعَلْ آخِرَ الْعَهْدِ بِهٰذَا الشَّهْرِ الْكَرِيمِ، وَأَعِدْنَا إِلَىٰ أَمْثَالِهِ بِصَلَاحِ الْقُلُوبِ وَالْقَوَالِبِ وَالْأُمَّةِ أَجْمَعِينَ، وَدَفْعِ الْبَلَاءِ عَنِ الْأُمَّةِ أَجْمَعِينَ، وَصَلَاحِ أَحْوَالِهِمْ كُلِّهَا

Do not make this our final encounter with this noble month. Return us to its like with rectification of hearts and outward forms, and of the entire Ummah, with the removal of tribulations from the entire Ummah, and the rectification of all their affairs.

وَمَنْ قَضَيْتَ وَقَدَّرْتَ أَجَلَهُ فِي هٰذَا الْعَامِ، فَاجْعَلْ خِتَامَهُ عَلَىٰ أَكْمَلِ حَالٍ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ وَالْيَقِينِ وَالرِّضَا. وَالْطُفْ بِنَا وَبِالْأُمَّةِ فِيمَا يَجْرِي بِهِ الْقَضَاءُ

And for those whose end You have decreed and appointed in this year, make their conclusion upon the most complete state of faith, certainty, and contentment. Be gentle with us and with the Ummah in all that Your decree brings.

إِلٰهَنَا وَسَيِّدَنَا، وَمَا وَفَّقْتَنَا لَهُ مِنَ الْخَيْرِ فِي الشَّهْرِ الْكَرِيمِ فَاقْبَلْهُ بِفَضْلِكَ، وَمُنَّ عَلَيْنَا بِوَصْلِكَ، وَأَذِقْنَا لَذَّةَ وُصْلِكَ، وَأَكْرِمْنَا بِطَوْلِكَ، وَأَتِبْنَا بِخَاتَمِ رُسُلِكَ. فَإِنَّكَ كَمَا وَصَفْتَهُ رَحْمَةً وَشَفَقَةً وَحِرْصًا عَلَيْنَا، وَوَصَفْتَهُ بِذٰلِكَ فِي كِتَابِكَ إِذْ قُلْتَ: ﴿ عَزِيزٌ عَلَيْهِ مَا عَنِتُّمْ حَرِيصٌ عَلَيْكُمْ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَءُوفٌ رَحِيمٌ ﴾ نَشْهَدُ أَنَّهُ كَمَا قُلْتَ، وَأَنَّهُ كَمَا وَصَفْتَهُ

Our God and our Master, whatever good You enabled us to perform in this noble month, accept it by Your grace. Bestow upon us closeness to You, let us taste the sweetness of that closeness, honour us with Your generosity and guide us through the Seal of Your Messengers. For You described him as mercy, compassion, and deep concern for us, as You described him in Your Book when You said: “Grievous to him is your suffering; he is concerned for you; toward the believers he is gentle and merciful.” We testify that he is exactly as You said, and exactly as You described.

فَصَلِّ يَا رَبَّنَا عَلَيْهِ أَفْضَلَ الصَّلَوَاتِ، وَاجْعَلْ طَاعَتَنَا لَهُ فِي كُلِّ شُؤُونِنَا وَأَحْوَالِنَا قَائِمَةً عَلَىٰ خَيْرِ الْوُجُوهِ وَأَكْمَلِهَا، حَتَّى نَدْخُلَ فِي دَائِرَةِ: وَمَنْ يُطِعِ اللَّهَ وَالرَّسُولَ فَأُولٰئِكَ مَعَ الَّذِينَ أَنْعَمَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِمْ

So send, our Lord, the most excellent prayers upon him, and make our obedience to him, in all our affairs and states, established upon the best and most complete way, until we enter among those of whom You said: “Whoever obeys Allah and the Messenger will be with those whom Allah has favoured.”

وَاجْزِهِ عَنَّا خَيْرَ الْجَزَاءِ، فَكَمْ دَعَا لَكَ مِنْ أَجْلِنَا، وَكَمْ تَوَجَّهَ إِلَيْكَ فِي شَأْنِنَا، فِي لَيَالِيهِ وَأَيَّامِهِ، فِي سَجَدَاتِهِ وَخَلَوَاتِهِ وَجَلَوَاتِهِ، فِي حَيَاتِهِ الدُّنْيَوِيَّةِ وَفِي الْبَرْزَخِ

Reward him on our behalf with the best of reward. How many times he supplicated to You for us, how often he turned to You concerning our affairs, in his nights and his days, in his prostrations, his moments of seclusion and his public moments, in his worldly life and in the realm of the grave.

اللّٰهُمَّ فَأَقْرِحْنَا بِهِ، اللّٰهُمَّ فَانْظُرْ إِلَيْنَا بِهِ، اللّٰهُمَّ فَأَكْرِمْنَا بِهِ، اللّٰهُمَّ سُرَّ قَلْبَهُ بِمَا تُجْرِيهِ عَلَيْنَا بِوَاسِطَتِهِ، وَسُرَّ رُوحَهُ بِمَا تَتَفَضَّلُ بِهِ عَلَيْنَا بِوَاسِطَتِهِ، وَأَكْرِمْنَا بِمُرَافَقَتِهِ

O Allah, gladden us through him. O Allah, look upon us through him. O Allah, honour us through him. Bring joy to his heart through what You cause to reach us by his means, bring joy to his soul through what You bestow upon us by his means, and honour us with his companionship.

اللّٰهُمَّ أَكْرِمْنَا بِمُرَافَقَتِهِ فِي الدُّنْيَا وَالْبَرْزَخِ وَالْآخِرَةِ وَيَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فِي الدَّرَجَاتِ الْعُلَى، وَاجْعَلْ لَنَا أَحْسَنَ الْخُلُقِ مِنْ سَبِيلِ مُرَافَقَتِهِ فِي سَاحَةِ النَّظَرِ إِلَىٰ وَجْهِكَ الْكَرِيمِ. يَا كَرِيمُ، يَا رَحْمٰنُ، يَا رَحِيمُ

O Allah, honour us with his companionship in this world, in the realm of the grave, in the Hereafter, and on the Day of Resurrection, in the highest ranks. Grant us the most beautiful character through the path of accompanying him in the station of gazing upon Your Noble Face. O Generous One, O Most Merciful, O Compassionate.

اللّٰهُمَّ اجْزِهِ عَنَّا خَيْرَ الْجَزَاءِ وَأَفْضَلَ الْجَزَاءِ، أَجْلَىٰ وَأَجْمَلَ وَأَكْمَلَ مَا جَزَيْتَ نَبِيًّا عَنْ أُمَّتِهِ. اجْزِ نَبِيَّنَا مُحَمَّدًا عَنَّا، وَاجْزِ عَنَّا آلَهُ وَصَحْبَهُ، وَاجْزِ عَنَّا وَرَثَتَهُ وَخُلَفَاءَهُ بِخَيْرِ الْجَزَاءِ وَأَفْضَلِ الْجَزَاءِ

O Allah, reward him on our behalf with the best and most excellent reward, the clearest, most beautiful, and most complete of what You have granted any prophet for his nation. Reward our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ on our behalf, reward his family and companions on our behalf, and reward his inheritors and successors on our behalf with the best and most excellent reward.

اللّٰهُمَّ حَنِّنْ عَلَىٰ رُوحِهِ، وَعَلَىٰ أَرْوَاحِ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ وَأَهْلِ حَضْرَتِهِ. يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ، يَا رَحْمٰنُ، يَا رَحِيمُ

O Allah, shower tenderness upon his soul, and upon the souls of his household and the people of his presence. O Living One, O Sustainer, O Most Merciful, O Compassionate.

اجْعَلْنَا مِنْ أَسْعَدِ النَّاسِ بِهٰذَا الشَّهْرِ الَّذِي انْقَضَى، وَوَصَلْنَا إِلَىٰ آخِرِ لَيَالِيهِ، وَبَلِّغْ كُلَّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَّا مَا يَرْتَجِيهِ وَفَوْقَ مَا يَرْتَجِيهِ، وَهَبْ لِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَّا مِنْ فَضْلِكَ فِي الدَّارَيْنِ فَوْقَ أَمَانِيهِ، وَفَوْقَ أَمَانِي أَهْلِ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضِ، مِمَّا أَنْتَ لَهُ أَهْلٌ

Make us among the happiest of people through this month that has passed, having reached its final nights. Grant each one of us what they hope for and more than what they hope for. Bestow upon each of us, from Your bounty, in both abodes, beyond our wishes and beyond the wishes of the inhabitants of the heavens and the earth, in a manner befitting You.

يَا حَاكِمَ يَوْمِ الْعَرْضِ، يَا اللهُ، لُطْفُكَ بِنَا فِي لَحَظَاتِنَا كُلِّهَا، وَمَا بَقِيَ لَنَا فِي الْحَيَاةِ، وَلُطْفُكَ بِنَا عِنْدَ الْوَفَاةِ، لُطْفُكَ بِكُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنَّا عِنْدَ خُرُوجِ الرُّوحِ مِنَ الْجَسَدِ. اجْعَلْنَا فِي لُطْفِكَ، وَاجْعَلْنَا فِي عِنَايَتِكَ وَرِعَايَتِكَ، وَاجْعَلْنَا فِي مَحَبَّتِكَ

O Judge of the Day of Presentation, O Allah, envelop us in Your gentleness in every moment of our lives and in whatever remains for us in this world. Envelop us in Your gentleness at the moment of death, in Your gentleness with each of us when the soul departs the body. Place us within Your gentleness, Your care, Your guardianship, and Your love.

نُحِبُّ لِقَاءَكَ وَأَنْتَ تُحِبُّ لِقَاءَنَا، نُحِبُّ لِقَاءَكَ وَأَنْتَ تُحِبُّ لِقَاءَنَا

We love meeting You, and You love meeting us. We love meeting You, and You love meeting us.

إِلٰهَنَا وَسَيِّدَنَا، مَنْ جَمَعْتَنَا بِهِ عَلَىٰ الْوَجْهَةِ إِلَيْكَ فِي هٰذِهِ الْحَيَاةِ، فَأَنْتَ أَكْرَمُ مِنْ أَنْ تُفَرِّقَنَا

Our God and our Master, You who gathered us upon turning to You in this life, You are too Generous to ever separate us.

فَإِنَّا نَرْجُو مِمَّنْ عِنْدَهُ الْفَضْلُ أَنْ لَا يَجْعَلَ بَيْنَنَا وَبَيْنَهُمْ فَرْقًا فِي الْبَرْزَخِ، وَلَا فِي مَوَاقِفِ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَلَا فِي دَارِ الْكَرَامَةِ. فَقَدْ صَدَقْنَا مَعَكَ، فَلَا تُبْعِدْنَا عَنْ حَبِيبِكَ، وَلَا تُبْعِدْنَا عَنْ أَهْلِ قُرْبِكَ، وَلَا تُبْعِدْنَا عَنْ سَوَادِ مَحْبُوبِكَ. يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ، يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحِيمُ

We hope from the One who possesses all virtue that He does not place any separation between us and them in the realm of the grave, nor at the stations of the Day of Resurrection, nor in the Abode of Honour. We have been truthful with You, so do not distance us from Your Beloved, do not distance us from the people of Your nearness, and do not distance us from the company of those beloved to You. O Living One, O Sustainer, O Most Merciful, O Compassionate.

ارْحَمْ أَهْلَ هٰذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ وَمَا نَزَلَ بِهَا، أَنْتَ لَهَا، أَنْتَ لَهَا. فَجَلِّلِ الْأُمُورَ كُلَّهَا، وَافْعَلِ الْغُمُوضَ كُلَّهَا، وَأَصْلِحِ الْأَحْوَالَ كُلَّهَا، وَتُبْ عَلَىٰ صَغِيرِنَا وَكَبِيرِنَا، وَذَكَرِنَا وَأُنْثَانَا، وَإِنْسِنَا وَجِنِّنَا، تَوْبَةً نَصُوحًا، تَوْبَةً نَصُوحًا، تَوْبَةً نَصُوحًا، تُسَكِّنُ بِهَا قَلْبًا وَجِسْمًا وَرُوحًا

Have mercy upon the people of this nation and upon what has descended upon them. You are their Protector, You are their Protector. Envelop all affairs, resolve all confusions, set right all conditions, and accept the repentance of our young and old, our men and women, our humans and jinn, a sincere repentance, a sincere repentance, a sincere repentance, through which hearts, bodies, and souls find rest.

يَا اللهُ، يَا اللهُ، يَا اللهُ، بِرَحْمَتِكَ الْوَاسِعَةِ، وَمِنَحِكَ الْمُتَتَابِعَةِ، وَغُيُوثِكَ الْهَامِعَةِ. يَا ذَا الْعَطَاءِ الْوَاسِعِ، يَا رَبَّ الْعَالَمِينَ، يَا أَوَّلَ الْأَوَّلِينَ، يَا آخِرَ الْآخِرِينَ، يَا ذَا الْقُوَّةِ الْمَتِينِ، يَا رَحِيمَ الْمَسَاكِينِ، يَا أَرْحَمَ الرَّاحِمِينَ

O Allah, O Allah, O Allah, by Your vast mercy, Your continuous gifts, and Your pouring rains. O Possessor of expansive giving, O Lord of all worlds, O First of the first, O Last of the last, O Possessor of mighty strength, O Merciful to the poor, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

شَدِّدْ شَمْلَ أَعْدَاءِ الدِّينِ، وَاجْعَلْهُمْ كَعَصْفٍ مَأْكُولٍ. لَا يَقْوَوْنَ عَلَيْنَا، وَلَا يَقْدِرُونَ عَلَيْنَا، وَلَا تُسَلِّطْهُمْ عَلَيْنَا، وَلَا عَلَىٰ أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِنَا وَذَوِينَا، وَلَا عَلَىٰ مَنْ وَالَانَا فِيكَ، وَلَا عَلَىٰ أَحَدٍ مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ. لَا فِي بُيُوتِنَا، وَلَا فِي عُقُولِنَا، وَلَا فِي أَبْكَارِنَا، وَلَا فِي أَخْلَاقِنَا، وَلَا فِي وُجُوهَاتِنَا

Scatter the ranks of the enemies of the religion and make them like eaten chaff. Let them have no power over us and no ability against us. Do not grant them authority over us, nor over any of our families or loved ones, nor over those who ally with us for Your sake, nor over any of the Muslims, not in our homes, not in our minds, not in our chastity, not in our character, and not in our paths.

اجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ يُطِيعُونَ اللهَ وَرَسُولَهُ حَقًّا وَصِدْقًا

Make us among those who truly and sincerely obey Allah and His Messenger ﷺ.

يَا حَيُّ يَا قَيُّومُ، يَا رَحْمٰنُ يَا رَحِيمُ، نَسْأَلُكَ كَمَالَ حُسْنِ الْخَاتِمَةِ، وَصَلَاحَ شُؤُونِنَا الظَّاهِرَةِ وَالْبَاطِنَةِ

O Living One, O Sustainer, O Most Merciful, O Compassionate, we ask You for the perfection
of a good ending and the rectification of our outward and inward affairs.

يَا اللهُ، نَسْأَلُكَ لَنَا وَلِهٰذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ، أَحْيَائِهَا وَأَمْوَاتِهَا، مَنْ هُوَ حَاضِرٌ وَمَنْ مَضَىٰ وَمَنْ يَأْتِي إِلَىٰ يَوْمِ الدِّينِ، مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ مِنْهُ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ سَيِّدُنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ، وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اسْتَعَاذَكَ مِنْهُ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ سَيِّدُنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ

O Allah, we ask You for ourselves and for this nation, its living and its dead, those present, those who have passed, and those yet to come until the Day of Judgment, for every good which Your servant and Prophet, our master Muhammad ﷺ asked You for. And we seek refuge in You from every evil from which Your servant and Prophet, our master Muhammad ﷺ, sought refuge in You.

وَأَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ، وَعَلَيْكَ الْبَلَاغُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ. رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ، وَتُبْ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ

You are the One sought for help, to You belongs the conveyance, and there is no power nor might except with Allah, the Most High, the Most Great. Our Lord, accept from us, for You are the All Hearing, the All Knowing, and turn to us in mercy, for You are the Oft Returning, the Most Merciful.

وَصَلِّ اللّٰهُمَّ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ
وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلِّمْ

And may Allah send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad ﷺ, the Prophet, and upon his family and companions.
