FASAL 1

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds, a praise that matches His blessings and is worthy of even more. O our Lord, all praise belongs to You, in a way that truly suits the majesty of Your Face and the greatness of Your power. Glory be to You, we can never fully praise You as You deserve. You are exactly as You have praised Yourself. So all praise is Yours until You are pleased, all praise is Yours when You are pleased, and all praise is Yours after You are pleased. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds.

O Allah, send Your blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad ﷺ, and upon the family of our master Muhammad ﷺ. O Possessor of Majesty, Beauty, Honour, and great gifts. May Allah be pleased with all the companions of our master, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. And be pleased with us too, and with our parents, our loved ones who have passed on, our shuyūkh, our teachers, their parents, everyone present here, and all the Muslims.

O Allah, deal with us and with them in the most beautiful way, in the way that befits Your mercy and generosity, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy. O Allah, our Lord, grant us goodness in this world and goodness in the Hereafter, and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

O Allah, make us, our parents, our shuyūkh, our teachers, their parents, everyone present, and all the Muslims among Your righteous servants, those who succeed, those who are blessed, those who are joyful, those who are given glad tidings, those whose hearts are at peace, those who are safe and secure, those who have no fear and will not grieve, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.

O Allah, make us among those who truly honour the Noble Qurʾān, who respect its sanctity, who recognize its greatness when they hear it, who carry themselves with good manners in its presence, who stay close to it in a beautiful way, who hold firmly to its guidance and never drift away from it, and who recite it seeking only Your Noble Countenance and the Hereafter. Accept us among them, and grant us the everlasting home of the Hereafter.

O Allah, let this Mighty Qurʾān truly benefit us, the Qurʾān whose rank You have raised, whose authority You have strengthened, and whose language You made clear and beautiful Arabic. And You said, O Most Truthful of all who speak, glory be to You: “So when We recite it, then follow its recitation. Then surely upon Us is its explanation.”

O Allah, let this Qurʾān be a means of honour and increase for us. Join us with every righteous and blessed soul. Use us in good, sincere, and guided deeds. Truly, You are the Most Praiseworthy, the Most Glorious.

O Allah, just as You made us believers in this Qurʾān, and among those who accept the truth of what is in it, then make us, O our Lord, among those who truly benefit from reciting it, who listen deeply to its beautiful words, who humble themselves before its commands, who take lessons from its examples, and who, at the time of completing it, are among those who succeed.

And forgive us, O Allah, forgive us, O Allah, forgive us, O Allah. And forgive our parents, our shuyūkh, our teachers, their parents, everyone present here, and all the Muslims. Āmīn, Āmīn, by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of those who show mercy.

Amin, Amin, by Your Mercy,

O Most Merciful of all who are merciful.

Allah, the Most High, the Most Great, has spoken the truth. And His noble, faithful, and generous Messenger ﷺ has spoken the truth and conveyed the message. And we bear witness to what our Lord has said, our Master, our Protector, our Creator, our Provider, the One to whom we return, the One who will raise us again, our Helper, and the Giver of every blessing upon us. We are among those who bear witness and among those who remember Him. All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all the worlds. The best ending belongs to the people of taqwā, and there is no enmity except against the wrongdoers.

And may Allah send blessings upon our master Muhammad ﷺ, the Seal of the Prophets, and upon his pure and noble family, and upon his chosen companions, and upon all the angels, the prophets, and the messengers. Truly, our Lord is Most Praiseworthy, Most Glorious.

All praise belongs to Allah, the One who praised Himself in His Book (Alhamdulillah), who began His Book with praise (Alhamdulillah), who chose praise for Himself (Alhamdulillah), who made praise a sign that leads to His obedience (Alhamdulillah), and who accepted praise from His creation as a form of gratitude to Him (Alhamdulillah).

All praise belongs to Allah, in every form of praise that brings increase from Him, that helps us fulfil what is due to Him, that is accepted by Him, pleasing to Him, and a means for even more praise to be accepted. And we ask Him to send the best of blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad ﷺ and upon the family of our master Muhammad ﷺ, and to grant him the highest and most noble stations in Paradise, its bliss, and its honoured ranks.

Oh Most Generous.

FASAL 2

O Most Generous, O Most Generous, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad ﷺ, and upon the family of our master Muhammad ﷺ.

O Most Generous, O Allah, You have brought us to the completion of Your Book, the Book whose sanctity You have honoured and raised, and which You placed above every scripture You revealed before it. It is the Qurʾān through which You made clear the laws of Your dīn, the Book by which You separated what is ḥalāl from what is ḥarām, the Book You explained in detail for Your servants, and the revelation You sent down in truth upon the heart of Your Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ.

And You made it a light by which You guide people out of the darkness of misguidance when they follow it. You made it an intercessor for the one who listens to it with faith and understanding. You made it a just balance whose truth never swerves, a light of guidance whose clear proof is never hidden by doubts, a banner of salvation for the one who follows its path, and a firm protection for the one who holds tightly to it, so that the hand of destruction does not reach him.

 0 Most Generous.

FASAL 3

O Most Generous, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, and upon the family of our master Muḥammad.

O Most Generous, O Allah, since You have allowed us to reach the end of this Qurʾān, made us love its recitation, and made it easy upon our tongues to repeat it beautifully, then make us, O our Lord, among those who recite it as it truly deserves to be recited, who care for it as it truly deserves to be cared for, and who hold firmly to the clear and decisive truths within it with sincere faith and conviction.

And make us among those who humbly accept even the verses whose full reality is beyond us, who believe and admit that all of it is from You. Do not let doubts shake our faith in it, and do not let our hearts drift away from its straight path.

O Most Generous.

FASAL 4

O Most Generous, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, and upon the family of our master Muḥammad.

O Most Generous, O Allah, just as You have made our hearts willing to carry this Qurʾān, and allowed us to know the honour and greatness of its virtue, then make us, O our Lord, among those who hold firmly to its rope, who flee from doubts into the safety of its protection, who find rest beneath the shade of its guidance, who are guided by the brightness of its light, who walk by the torch of its lamp, and who never seek guidance from anything other than it.

O Most Generous.

O Most Generous, O Most Generous, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, and upon the family of our master Muḥammad.

O Most Generous, O Allah, just as You made this Qurʾān a clear sign that leads to You, and made it the path for those whose hearts long for You, then make it for us a means to reach the highest stations of honour, a cause of salvation for us in the loneliness and terror of the Day of Judgment, a ladder by which we rise to safety and peace, and a way by which we enter the everlasting joy of Paradise.

O Most Generous.

FASAL 6

O Most Generous, O Most Generous, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, and upon the family of our master Muḥammad.

O Most Generous, O Allah, make this Qurʾān a companion for us in the darkness of our nights. Let it stop our feet from walking toward sin. Keep our tongues from falling into falsehood and useless speech. Restrain our limbs from committing wrong. Unfold for us, through it, the lessons and reminders that our heedlessness has kept hidden from us, until You bring into our hearts a true understanding of its wonders, its parables, and its warnings, warnings so powerful that even mountains would be too weak to bear them.

O Most Generous.

FASAL 7

O Most Generous, O Most Generous, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, and upon the family of our master Muḥammad.

O Most Generous, O Allah, through this Qurʾān, enrich our hearts and remove our neediness. Through it, grant us a life of ease, barakah, and spacious provision. Protect us through it from slipping into disbelief, and from the roads that lead to hypocrisy. Keep us far from blameworthy habits and low character. Purify us through its purification, until we begin to walk in the footsteps of those who lived by its light, those whom false hopes did not distract, and whom the deceptions of this world did not cut off from You.

O Most Generous.

FASAL 8

O Most Generous, O Most Generous, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, and upon the family of our master Muḥammad.

O Most Generous, O Allah, just as You honoured us with completing Your Book, invited us to seek Your immense reward, and warned us through it of Your painful punishment, make us among those who keep true company with the Qurʾān in their private moments, who honour its rank and preserve its sanctity, and who do not bring it near places of sin, suspicion, and disrespect, until it becomes for us in this world a shield that keeps us away from what You have forbidden. Then let it lead us to salvation in the loneliness of the Day of Judgment, let it testify for us before You that we honoured what it made lawful and stayed away from what it made forbidden, and let it escort us into the everlasting gardens of Aden.

O Most Generous.

FASAL 9

O Most Generous, O Most Generous, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, and upon the family of our master Muḥammad.

O Most Generous, O Allah, through this Qurʾān, make easy for us the hardships of death, the pain of its final moments, when the soul reaches the collarbone, and the Angel of Death appears from the unseen to take it, and it is said, “Who can help him now?” Make light for us the bitterness of death, the loneliness of parting, and the moment our journey to the Hereafter begins, when our deeds hang around our necks and becomes the decider of our fate, and the grave becomes our place of refuge until the Day of Encounter, the day we meet You for judgment.

O Most Generous.

FASAL 10

O Most Generous, O Most Generous, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, and upon the family of our master Muḥammad.

O Allah, make blessed for us our entry into the home of the grave, and our long stay beneath the layers of the earth. Make the grave, after we leave this world, the best of our resting places. Through the Great Qurʾān, make spacious for us the tightness of our graves, and do not disgrace us, O our Master, before all who stand on the Day of Resurrection because of the destructive sins we have committed. Forgive us, forgive us, forgive us for the forbidden things we have fallen into.

And through the Mighty Qurʾān, have mercy on our lowly state when we stand before You. Make our feet firm when the bridges over Jahannam shake on the Day of Crossing. Save us through it from the terrors of the Day of Judgment and the overwhelming horrors of the Great Calamity. Brighten our faces, brighten our faces, brighten our faces, when the faces of the sinful turn dark in the place of regret and remorse.

O Most Generous.

FASAL 11

O Most Generous, O Most Generous, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, and upon the family of our master Muḥammad.

O Most Generous, O Allah, through this Qurʾān, let our outward state remain righteous. Through it, shield the whispers of Shayṭān from reaching the soundness of our hearts. Wash away through it the dirt of our hearts and the destructive sins of our deeds. Remove through it the burning heat of doubts from the truthfulness of what is within us. Through it, gather the scattered parts of our lives, open our chests, and make our affairs easy. Clothe us through it with garments of safety when we are raised again, and let our joy and happiness be long on the Day of Resurrection.

O Most Generous.

O Most Generous, O Most Generous, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, and upon the family of our master Muḥammad.

O Most Generous, O Allah, through this Qurʾān, lighten from us the weight of our sins. Grant us through it the beautiful character of the righteous. Let us follow in the footsteps of those who stood before You with it in the depths of the night and at the edges of the day, until You grant us through it the gifts of Your forgiveness, the beginnings of Your kindness, and the blessings of Your pardon, mercy, and pleasure.

O Most Generous of those who are asked, O Most Abundant in giving, O Most Generous of those who are asked, O Most Abundant in giving, O Most Generous of those who are asked, O Most Abundant in giving. Purify us through Your Mighty Book from the filth of sins. Grant us beautiful patience when hardships come. Bless us with readiness when death draws near. And protect us from every painful trial and every harm that brings destruction.

O Most Generous.

FASAL 13

O Most Generous, O Most Generous, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, and upon the family of our master Muḥammad.

O Most Generous, could it be imagined that You would place in chains the hands that humbled themselves before You in prayer, hands that bowed and prostrated before You? Or that You would place in the chains of Hellfire the feet that walked toward You, leaving their homes with no desire except hope and longing for what is with You, when all of that was only a favour from You upon us, and never a favour from us upon You?

Could it be imagined that You would deafen the ears that delighted in the sweetness of reciting Your Noble Book which You revealed? Or that You would blind, in the darkness of the grave, the eyes that wept for Your sake, out of fear of Your punishment and dread of the Reckoning?

By Your might and majesty, the ears did not listen except with belief, the eyes did not shed tears except out of fear, the voices were not raised in duʿāʾ except in humility and devotion, and the tongues did not move in seeking forgiveness except with true regret for their slips and mistakes.

O You who honoured us with belief, despite how far our deeds still fall from true sincerity, support us, O Allah, support us, O Lord, in this noble, blessed, and exalted hour, at the completion of the recitation of the Qurʾān, with protection and divine enablement.

O Most Generous.

FASAL 14

O Most Generous, O Most Generous, O Allah, send blessings and peace upon our master Muḥammad, and upon the family of our master Muḥammad.

O Most Generous, comfort our loneliness through obedience to You, O Comforter of the lonely and bewildered in the empty wastelands of life. Reach us with Your protection, O Rescuer of the drowning one in the depths of the seas. O Allah, save us through Your gentleness from the terrors and dangers of that Day. And send Your blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad ﷺ, the chosen Prophet, and upon his pure and noble family.

And send upon him a blessing so magnificent, that even those standing at the Great Gathering on the Day of Judgment would envy it. O Allah, send blessings upon his fathers and brothers from among the Prophets and Messengers, upon his family, his followers, his companions, his pure wives, the Mothers of the Believers, all the Ṣaḥābah, the Tābiʿīn, and those who followed them in goodness until the Day of Judgment, and include us with them and among them by Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.

May Allah forgive for us and for you, for our parents and your parents, and for all Muslims, the sins of the past. May He protect us, you, and them in the days that remain. May He accept from us and from you our prayers, our recitation, our charity, our duʿāʾ, our ḥajj, and our fasting. And may He admit us, you, and all Muslims, by His mercy and pardon, into Dāras-Salām.

And may He not let us, nor you, nor them, see anything disgraceful after this gathering. And may He receive us, and receive you, and receive them, and our elders, and your elders, and our deceased, and your deceased, and all the deceased among the Muslims, with honour, nobility, generosity, greatness, and favour.

And may Allah send abundant blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad ﷺ, the best of creation, and upon his family and companions, the noble and righteous, the lamps in the darkness.

And all praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all worlds.
