بِسْمِ ٱللهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيْمِ

اللّٰهُمَّ ارْحَمْنَا بِالْقُرْآنِ، اللّٰهُمَّ ارْفَعْنَا بِالْقُرْآنِ، اللّٰهُمَّ فَهِّمْنَا عُلُومَ الْقُرْآنِ، اللّٰهُمَّ زِدْنَا بِالْقُرْآنِ إِيمَانًا وَيَقِينًا، وَقِنَا بِهِ جَمِيعَ الشُّرُورِ ظَاهِرًا وَبَاطِنًا

O Allah, have mercy upon us through the Qur’an. O Allah, raise us through the Qur’an. O Allah, grant us understanding of the sciences of the Qur’an. O Allah, increase us through the Qur’an in faith and certainty, and protect us by it from all evils, outward and inward.

إِنَّكَ تَرْفَعُ بِهٰذَا الْكِتَابِ أَقْوَامًا وَتَضَعُ بِهِ آخَرِينَ؛ فَنَسْأَلُكَ أَلَّا تَجْعَلَ فَرْدًا مِنَّا، وَلَا مِنْ أَهْلِينَا وَأَوْلَادِنَا وَأَصْحَابِنَا وَطُلَّابِنَا وَمَنْ وَالَانَا فِيكَ، إِلَّا رَفَعْتَهُ بِالْقُرْآنِ، وَنَفَعْتَهُ بِالْقُرْآنِ، وَرَحِمْتَهُ بِالْقُرْآنِ، وَشَفَّعْتَ فِيهِ الْقُرْآنَ

You raise people by this Book and You lower others by it. So we ask You not to leave a single one of us, nor our families, our children, our companions, our students, or those who are connected to us for Your sake, except that You raise them through the Qur’an, benefit them through the Qur’an, show them mercy through the Qur’an, and allow the Qur’an to intercede for them.

يَا كَرِيمُ يَا مَنَّانُ، يَا رَحِيمُ يَا رَحْمٰنُ، زِدْنَا إِيمَانًا
فِي رَمَضَانَ؛ وَمَا تَهَبُ لِأَحَدٍ مِنْ أَهْلِ أَرْضِكَ وَسَمَاوَاتِكَ مِنْ قُوَّةِ الْإِيمَانِ وَالْيَقِينِ فِي بَقِيَّةِ هٰذِهِ السَّاعَاتِ مِنْ هٰذِهِ اللَّيَالِي وَالْأَيَّامِ؛ فَخُصَّنَا بِهِ يَا وَهَّابُ، خُصَّنَا بِهِ يَا وَهَّابُ خُصَّنَا بِهِ يَا وَهَّابُ

O Generous One, O Bestower, O Most Merciful, O Most Compassionate, increase us in faith in Ramadan. And whatever strength of faith and certainty You grant to any of the inhabitants of Your earth and heavens in the remaining hours of these nights and days, then single us out for it, O Bestower, single us out for it, O Bestower, single us out for it.

وَافْتَحْ فِي الْخَيْرِ لَنَا الْأَبْوَابَ، وَارْفَعْنَا فِي حَضَرَاتِ، الِْاقْتِرَابِ، يَا رَبَّ الْأَرْبَابِ، يَا مُسَبِّبَ الْأَسْبَابِ، يَا كَرِيمُ يَا وَهَّابُ، يَا غَفُورُ يَا تَوَّابُ، يَا مَنْ يُعْطِي بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ، يَا مَنْ يَرْزُقُ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ، يَا مَنْ يُعْطِي وَلَا يُبَالِي، يَا مَنْ يُكْرِمُ وَلَا يُبَالِي، يَا مَوْلَى الْمَوَالِي

Open for us the doors of goodness, raise us in the stations of nearness. O Lord of lords, O Causer of causes, O Generous, O Bestower, O Forgiving, O Accepter of repentance, O One who gives without measure, O One who provides without measure, O One who gives without concern, O One who honors without concern, O Master of masters.

بَلِّغْنَا فَوْقَ آمَالِنَا مِنْ كُلِّ خَيْرٍ، وَاحْفَظْنَا مِنْ
كُلِّ أَذًى وَضُرٍّ وَذَنْبٍ وَعَيْنٍ وَسِحْرٍ وَشَرٍّ وَضَيْرٍ

Grant us beyond our hopes every good, and protect us from every harm, hardship, sin, evil eye, sorcery, evil, and affliction.

يَا الله، لَا انْصَرَفَ عَنَّا الشَّهْرُ إِلَّا وَقَدْ صَرَفْتَ
عَنَّا حُجُبَ الظُّلُمَاتِ، وَطَهَّرْتَنَا مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْآفَاتِ، وَرَفَعْتَ لَنَا عِنْدَكَ الدَّرَجَاتِ، وَجَعَلْتَنَا مِنْ أَسْعَدِ النَّاسِ بِهٰذِهِ الْأَيَّامِ الْمُبَارَكَاتِ وَاللَّيَالِي الْبَاهِيَاتِ

O Allah, let not this month depart from us except that You have removed from us the veils of darkness, purified us from all afflictions, raised our ranks with You, and made us among the happiest of people in these blessed days and radiant nights.

وَبِخَاتِمَةِ الشَّهْرِ الْكَرِيمِ اخْتِمْهُ لَنَا بِأَحْسَنِ الْخَاتِمَاتِ،
يَا مُعْطِيَ الْعَطَايَا الْجَزِيلَاتِ، يَا وَاهِبَ الْمَوَاهِبِ الرَّبَّانِيَّاتِ، يَا عَظِيمَ الْفَضْلِ وَالْإِحْسَانِ، يَا مُجِيبَ الدَّعَوَاتِ

And with the conclusion of this noble month, seal it for us with the best of endings, O Giver of abundant gifts, O Bestower of divine grants, O Vast in favor and excellence, O Answerer of supplications.

أَصْلِحْ شُؤُونَنَا، وَأَقِرَّ بِرِضَاكَ عُيُونَنَا، وَاكْشِفْ عَنَّا هُمُومَنَا وَغُمُومَنَا، يَا اللهُ

Set right our affairs, settle our eyes with Your pleasure, and lift from us our worries and our griefs, O Allah.

وَزِدْ إِيمَانًا أَهْلَ الْإِسْلَامِ فِي الْمَشَارِقِ وَالْمَغَارِبِ، وَارْبُطْهُمْ بِالْكِتَابِ الْمُنْزَلِ عَلَىٰ أَطْيَبِ الْأَطَايِبِ، وَالْعَوَائِقُ الَّتِي تَعُوقُهُمْ عَنْ ذٰلِكَ؛ زَحْزِحْهَا وَأَبْعِدْهَا وَاصْرِفْهَا عَنْهُمْ

Increase the faith of the people of Islam in the East and the West, bind them to the Book revealed to the purest of the pure, and remove, distance, and turn away the obstacles that hinder them from it.

يَا اللهُ، وَتَدَارَكْهُمْ جَمِيعًا، وَأَغِثْهُمْ غِيَاثًا سَرِيعًا، وَتَوَلَّهُمْ بِمَا أَنْتَ أَهْلُهُ، يَا عَلِيمُ يَا سَمِيعُ

O Allah, come to the aid of all of them, grant them swift relief, and take charge of them in a manner befitting You, O All Knowing, O All Hearing.

يَا اللهُ، اجْمَعْ شَمْلَهُمْ، وَأَلِّفْ ذَاتَ بَيْنِهِمْ، وَأَنْقِذْ وَخَلِّصِ الْمَظْلُومِينَ وَالْمَنْكُوبِينَ وَالْمُعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيْهِمْ، فِي الْيَمَنِ، وَفِي الشَّامِ، وَفِي جَمِيعِ أَقْطَارِ الْأَرْضِ

O Allah, unite them, reconcile their hearts, and rescue and deliver the oppressed, the afflicted, and those who have been wronged, in Yemen, in Syria, and in all regions of the earth.

يَا اللهُ، وَجَيْشَ وَجُنْدَ وَرَكْبَ الْمُعْتَدِينَ الظَّالِمِينَ مِنْ يَهُودٍ وَنَصَارَىٰ وَمَنْ وَالَاهُمْ؛ اهْزِمْهُمْ وَزَلْزِلْهُمْ، وَرُدَّ كَيْدَهُمْ فِي نُحُورِهِمْ، وَخَالِفْ بَيْنَ وُجُوهِهِمْ وَكَلِمَاتِهِمْ وَقُلُوبِهِمْ

O Allah, as for the armies and forces of the oppressive aggressors among the Jews, the Christians, and those who support them, defeat them, shake them, turn their plots back upon themselves, and sow discord among their faces, words, and hearts.

يَا اللهُ، يَسْتَعْرِضُونَ مَا اغْتَرُّوا بِهِ مِمَّا آتَيْتَهُمْ مِنْ قُوَّةٍ حِسِّيَّةٍ، وَأَنْتَ صَاحِبُ الْقُوَّةِ وَلَكَ الْقُدْرَةُ؛ فَأَرِنَا قُوَّتَكَ فِيهِمْ، وَأَرِنَا قُدْرَتَكَ فِيهِمْ، وَاخْزِهِمْ وَاخْذُلْهُمْ، وَاخْزِهِمْ وَاخْذُلْهُمْ

O Allah, they flaunt the physical strength You granted them, while You alone possess all strength and power. So show us Your strength against them, show us Your power over them, disgrace them and abandon them, disgrace them and abandon them.

يَا قَوِيُّ يَا مَتِينُ، يَا أَكْرَمَ الْأَكْرَمِينَ، يَا جَبَّارُ يَا قَهَّارُ، ابْطِشْ بِأَعْدَائِكَ وَأَعْدَائِنَا يَا قَهَّارُ، وَاكْفِنَا الشُّرُورَ وَالْأَشْرَارَ، وَاحْمِنَا مِنْ جَمِيعِ الْمَضَارِّ

O Strong One, O Firm One, O Most Generous of the generous, O Compeller, O Subduer, strike Your enemies and our enemies, suffice us against evils and evildoers, and protect us from all harm.

يَا رَبِّ زِدْنَا إِيمَانًا فِي كُلِّ نَفَسٍ، وَارْفَعْنَا إِلَىٰ جِنَابِ قُرْبِكَ الْأَقْدَسِ، وَأْذَنْ لَنَا بِالدُّخُولِ فِي حَضَائِرِ الْقُدْسِ، وَزَكِّنَا عَنْ كُلِّ عَيْبٍ وَنَقْصٍ وَرِجْسٍ، وَاجْعَلْنَا مِنْ خَوَاصِّ مَنْ زَكَّيْتَ لَهُمُ النَّفْسَ، يَا قُدُّوسُ

O Lord, increase us in faith with every breath, raise us to the most sacred station of nearness to You, grant us entry into the enclosures of holiness, purify us from every flaw, deficiency, and impurity, and make us among the chosen whose souls You have purified, O Most Holy.

آتِ نُفُوسَنَا تَقْوَاهَا، أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلَاهَا، فَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا، فَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا، فَزَكِّهَا أَنْتَ خَيْرُ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا

Grant our souls their piety. You are their Guardian and their Master, so purify them, for You are the best of those who purify them, purify them, for You are the best of those who purify them, purify them, for You are the best of those who purify them.

وَلَوْلَا فَضْلُ ٱللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَرَحْمَتُهُۥ مَا زَكَىٰ ﴿
﴾ مِنكُم مِّنْ أَحَدٍ أَبَدًۭا وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ يُزَكِّى مَن يَشَآءُۗ

And You are the One who said in this Qur’an and in the Wise Reminder: “Had it not been for the favor of Allah upon you and His mercy, not one of you would ever have been purified, but Allah purifies whom He wills.”

يَا اللهُ، يَا مَنْ تُزَكِّي مَنْ تَشَاءُ، بَيْنَ يَدَيْكَ وَقَفْنَا، وَبِكَ لُذْنَا، وَعَلَىٰ أَعْتَابِكَ قُمْنَا، وَإِيَّاكَ طَلَبْنَا، وَبِفِنَاءِ جُودِكَ أَنَخْنَا، وَإِلَيْكَ تَوَجَّهْنَا، وَبِحَبِيبِكَ تَوَسَّلْنَا

O Allah, O You who purify whom You will, before You we stand, in You we seek refuge, at Your threshold we rise, You alone we seek, in the courtyard of Your generosity we kneel, toward You we turn, and through Your Beloved we seek intercession.

فَزَكِّنَا يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا، آتِ نُفُوسَنَا تَقْوَاهَا، أَنْتَ وَلِيُّهَا وَمَوْلَاهَا، فَزَكِّهَا يَا خَيْرَ مَنْ زَكَّاهَا

So purify us, O Best of those who purify, grant our souls their piety. You are their Guardian and their Master, so purify them, O Best of those who purify.

يَا مَنْ يُزَكِّي مَنْ يَشَاءُ، اجْعَلْنَا مِمَّنْ دَخَلَ فِي مَشِيئَتِكَ أَنْ تُزَكِّيَهُمْ، وَجَمِيعَ أَهْلِينَا وَقَرَابَاتِنَا وَطُلَّابِنَا وَأَحْبَابِنَا وَأَصْحَابِنَا وَأَعْوَانِنَا عَلَىٰ دِينِكَ، يَا خَيْرَ مُجِيبٍ، يَا أَكْرَمَ مُسْتَجِيبٍ، يَا اللهُ

O You who purify whom You will, make us among those whom You have willed to purify, along with all our families, relatives, students, loved ones, companions, and helpers upon Your religion, O Best of those who answer, O Most Generous of responders, O Allah.

نَسْأَلُكَ لَنَا وَلِلْأُمَّةِ مِنْ خَيْرِ مَا سَأَلَكَ مِنْهُ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ سَيِّدُنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ، وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شَرِّ مَا اسْتَعَاذَكَ مِنْهُ عَبْدُكَ وَنَبِيُّكَ سَيِّدُنَا مُحَمَّدٌ ﷺ. وَأَنْتَ الْمُسْتَعَانُ، وَعَلَيْكَ الْبَلَاغُ، وَلَا حَوْلَ وَلَا قُوَّةَ إِلَّا بِاللّهِ الْعَلِيِّ الْعَظِيمِ. ﴿ رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ السَّمِيعُ الْعَلِيمُ وَتُبْ
﴾ عَلَيْنَا إِنَّكَ أَنْتَ التَّوَّابُ الرَّحِيمُ

We ask You for ourselves and for the Ummah every good that Your servant and Prophet, our master Muhammad ﷺ, asked You for, and we seek refuge in You from every evil from which Your servant and Prophet, our master Muhammad ﷺ, sought refuge. You are the One whose help is sought, to You belongs the conveyance, and there is no power nor strength except through Allah, the Most High, the Most Great. “Our Lord, accept from us; indeed You are the All Hearing, the All Knowing. And turn to us in mercy; indeed You are the Accepter of repentance, the Most Merciful.”

وَصَلَّى اللهُ عَلَىٰ سَيِّدِنَا مُحَمَّدٍ النَّبِيِّ الْأُمِّيِّ، وَعَلَىٰ آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ

May Allah send blessings and peace upon our master Muhammad ﷺ, the unlettered Prophet, and upon his family and companions.
